Time to Move and Munch (Aboriginal dance) Teacher professional learning

This fun, interactive and practical based course has been designed to provide an understanding of Aboriginal dance and the benefits of sustainable native ingredients.

We explore how to create contemporary dance content appropriate for your location and demonstrate how these movements and knowledges can be connected into your day-to-day programming. Let’s MOVE, educators will have the opportunity to learn three Aboriginal dances and be involved in the creation of a contemporary dance.

We investigate Aboriginal practices of sustainable crop growing, harvesting, and diet. Participants will gain an understanding of the benefits of native ingredients, while we discuss ways to grow and use native ingredients appropriate to your location.
