The Speaking in Colour Aboriginal Education Kit - Possum Skin Cloak is a fantastic resource for early years learning framework educators. The purpose of the kit is to provide cultural understanding of possum skin cloak including how, where and why they were utilised. This resource is designed to provide educators with the ability to implement the content and context of this utilitarian object into their services linking the 30+ lessons to the early years learning framework.
The resources were written by experience senior cloak maker Vicki Couzens and Aboriginal teacher Cherie Johnson and are endorsed by Hunter Regional AECG.
