Lynelle Elliott is a Wiradjuri woman residing on Darkenjung Countty in Woy Woy on the beautiful Central Coast.
An emerging artist, successfully completing The Diploma of Visual Arts at Newcastle Art School in 2019 and receiving Hunter TAFE’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship the same year.
As a weaver, painter, printmaker, sculptor, art teacher and presenter for Speaking in Colour, I have the opportunity to express my passion for art making and my Culture, sharing with it young and old alike right across the Hunter/Central Coast Region.
With a life long love of art and learning, and a deep connection to nature and spirituality, my work is inspired by, and explores past and present family connections, relationship to Country and the impact of Cultural understandings and spiritual beliefs.
