Belinda Huntriss is a descendant of the Worimi and Darug people and was born and raised in Gloucester on the mid north coast of NSW.
Belinda has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies) from the University of Newcastle and is currently working towards a Master’s in Indigenous Education at Macquarie University.
Belinda has been working in Aboriginal education for over ten years in early childhood, primary, high school and the university sectors.
For five years Belinda has been working as a specialised Aboriginal education teacher in primary schools and as a consultant working with early childhood services. Her most important position remains her role as a mum to two young boys.
